These shows taught me all about animals, science, math, geography, reading, grammar, kindness and friendship.

I can feel the nostalgia ooze into my bloodstream

The amazing thing about the Toy Story trilogy is the fact that they waited 10 years to conclude the story, so that a story about nostalgia made you feel nostalgic towards the original content.

The Thing That Jack Dawson And Gwen Stacy Have In Common

The other day I learned something very interesting: “The real hero always dies.”

Back when Titanic was filming, Leo diCaprio asked director James Cameron why his character, Jack, did not have as much character development as Kate Winslet’s character, Rose. It turns out it is because Jack is the real hero of the story. Although he did not survive the shipwreck, he survived long enough to change Rose’s life. He lived as long as Rose needed him to. He was the guide that taught her how to turn her life around.

Similarly, Gwen Stacy did not survive to the very end of The Amazing Spiderman 2. Throughout the two movies, she was Peter’s hero. She was his guide in having a reason to be strong and brave. She survived long enough to teach him what he needed to learn in order to be the best Spiderman he could be.

I just think this was one of the most interesting concepts and I wanted to share with you all. I am definitely going to stop questioning seemingly unnecessary main character deaths.

that awesome feeling when you know that despite not talking to a friend everyday or even after a very long time that you’re both still cool
